A Thai man Facebook Live-d himself killing his own daughter before committing suicide.
The 21-year old father hanged his daughter and then himself, after an argument with his wife. The tragedy happened in an abandoned hotel in Phuket.
"He was having paranoia about his wife leaving him and not loving him," police officer Jullaus Suvannin said.
The family’s relatives reported it to the police after seeing the footages.
"He felt neglected by his wife because they had been fighting so he took his 11-month-old daughter to the site of the crime which is the abandoned hotel. Then we found the bodies hanging off the hotel," Police Col. Jirasak Siemsak told media.
"The mother of the child was crying and was very sad. I am also very sad. It is a personal dispute and they were still very young," Jirasak added.
A couple of videos were uploaded but were taken down by Facebook, and eventually, Youtube. The videos were visible for roughly 24 hours before they were taken down.
Singapore-based Facebook spokesman emailed Reuters, "This is an appalling incident and our hearts go out to the family of the victim. There is absolutely no place for content of this kind on Facebook and it has now been removed."
