Italian Waitress Stopped Spending For 2 Years So She Could Travel To Indonesia and Marry A Villager She Met Online!

Ilaria Monte Blanco, a beautiful 21-year-old Italian waitress saved up for 2 years so she could afford to go to Indonesia. Why? She went there to marry a man that she met online.

Now that is one lucky guy.

The lucky guy is the one wearing a red shirt.

His name is Dzulfikar, a villager from the Batang regency in Central Java. 

Meeting on Facebook, the two fell in love and decided that they wanted to live together.

For two years, Ilaria saved up her salary from her waitress job to fly 11,129 kilometers to the man she loves. Surprisingly, her parents gave their blessing for the two to get hitched.

The trip wasn’t all smooth sailing, though, as Ilaria's appearance made the people of Batang suspicious. They even called the authorities to make sure that everything was on the up-and-up. 

Ilaria was questioned by Agus Windarto, the Deputy Chief First Inspector for the Batang Police, about her purpose for travel. Of course, this was eventually smoothed out after they heard the unlikely love story.

That’s not all! 

Dzulfikar’s mother was also surprised about Ilaria's arrival. Luckily, she eventually won her over.
