Ninety’s babies are surely familiar with the female star Rica Peralejo. Her career started when she first appeared in ABS-CBN’s afternoon show, Ang TV.
When she became a teeneager, she transferred to rival network GMA where she was cast as one of the lead actresses in the hit teen-oriented drama T.G.I.S. After a year, she returned to ABS-CBN to star in the network’s own teen drama, Gimik.
She had many projects with ABS-CBN including roles in shows such as !Oka Tokat, Mula sa Puso, Marinella, Palibhasa Lalake, and Oki Doki Doc .
During her later years, her hosting skills were tested when she became part of Umagang Kay Ganda.
Her many castings in horror movies including Takot Ka Ba Sa Dilim and Spirit of the Glass earned her the title “Scream Queen” of Philippine movies.
Before that, however, Rica decided to venture into sexier and more daring roles. Some of the movies she made in her career as a sexy star include Balahibong Pusa and Tatarin.
Eventually, she married her boyfriend Joseph "Joe" Bonifacio who is a pastor of Every Nation Church.
