Filipinos are known around the world as hard working people. We display this kind of characteristic in the different parts of the world as our Overseas Filipino Workers’ (OFW’s) population is continuously increasing.
Another story exemplified this characteristic as a 13-year-old boy went viral for being a hard working entrepreneur at a very young age.
Kicker Daily featured a story of an unnamed boy who was seen selling his masterpieces for one Riyal or Php13.30 along the streets of a humble town in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Although Kicker Daily’s source did not expose the name of the child, he was assumed to be son of one of the OFWs living in that area.
The 13-year-old boy patiently sells his cartoon drawings to buyers who might be interested in his talent. He would work as an entrepreneur after his class dismissal everyday.
Moreover, the source also claimed that the boy dreams of becoming a famous artist someday. With the talent that he is sharing at an early age, it is undeniable that he is on the right track.
Meanwhile, many OFWs in Jeddah and as well as Saudi Arabian nationals already expressed support for this young boy. Not only are they applauding him for his talent, but they are also amazed with how he was able to realize the value of hard work, given that he was just 13 years old.
The post which featured the boy already garnered thousands of Facebook reactions and shares as netizens were inspired by this young boy’s dedication to his craft.
