2-Week Old Baby Dies After Being Wrongly Fed, Hospital Refuses To Accept The Child

Going viral today, a netizen shared the story of a baby who allegedly passed away after drowning in milk.

Apparently, the baby’s mother fed her child while lying down and then fell asleep. When she woke up, the baby was motionless and unresponsive. The baby was initially brought to Lourdes Hospital, where they were rejected. Next, they went to Fatima Hospital. 

A Code Blue (a situation code for life and death emergencies) was declared and the medical staff tried all they could to save the baby. Unfortunately, it was not enough.

The netizen reminded mothers to make sure to feed their babies properly and make them burp afterwards, as it is crucial for the child’s breathing.

May dinala sa ER kahapon sa Fatima, nag code blue sa 14-day old newborn.

Aspiration Pneumonia cause of death. (Napunta lahat ng gatas sa baga, nalunod sa gatas yung baga)

3AM huling pinadede yung baby, breastfeeding sila ni mommy pero that night milk formula binigay. Eh flat na flat yung baby sa bed nung napadede sa sobrang antok nung mommy. Nakatulugan na daw nya pagpapadede sa bote.

Nakita nalang nila 9AM, hindi na responsive ang baby. Akala daw tulog lang  :'(  :(

Sinugod sa Lourdes Hospital, pinaalis daw (this I don't know if totoo). From Lourdes nagpunta sila ng Fatima Hospital, 12NN dumating. Code Blue(life and death emergency situation code for the hospital), was immediately called, nung pagka intubate, lumabas lahat ng gatas.  :'(  :(

Everything was done to bring back the life of this precious little angel kaso dilated na pupils ng bata (yung gitnang gitna sa itim ng mata, bumuka na), no more heart rate, lifeless na talaga.  :(  :(  :'(  :'(

Totoong scenario ito. Nakakalungkot. Nakakaiyak.

Mommies and daddies, please, reminder lang na please itaas nyo ang upper body ng baby pag magpapdede, mas maganda if halos nakaupo na... Ilang bwan lang tayo magsasakripisyo sa gabi sa puyat at pagod. After ilang bwan o taon, hindi naman na dedede yan.

And always ipa burp every after feeding. Kasi pwede ding naglungad ang baby kaso nakahiga din.

*Hindi porket nakakadede ang baby ng nakahiga eh ayos sa kanila yan, sadyang gutom nalang talaga sila at walang lakas para sabihin na itaas mo katawan nila habang dumedede. Ikaw try mo uminom ng nakahiga. Kaya mo?*

Please keep in mind that they depend solely on us. There's noone to blame but us. Pero support and guidance ang ibigay natin sa mga grieving moms who lost their angels.
